Technology
Tikall develops its own underwriting and administration platform in-house, built on language models and agentic capabilities. Our aim: to provide our partners with powerful and secure tools. We develop this platform in Switzerland and process data in Switzerland wherever possible, otherwise in the European Union.
Artificial intelligence brings productivity gains and improves the services provided to policyholders. However, it has biases and never replaces human judgement. We integrate it into our processes to support human decision-making, not to replace it.
We tell you when you are interacting with an AI tool or when content has been produced with its help. We document the limitations of our tools, and a human contact is always available.
We develop in Switzerland, favour local hosting providers and keep technical control of our systems. Your data is processed in Switzerland or in the European Union and is not used to train AI models.
Privacy policyThe AI tools we use are subject to the same security requirements as all our systems: access control, controlled hosting and continuous monitoring.
Hosted in Switzerland
The language models we use today are operated by Infomaniak in its data centres in Switzerland.
A European alternative
We plan to use models from Mistral AI, a French provider whose data is processed in the European Union.
Open-weight models
We favour open-weight models. They can be evaluated freely and hosted with the provider of our choice, so we do not depend on a single vendor.
This is why Tikall holds the Swiss Made Software + AI label. It commits us to developing our tools in Switzerland, locating our data primarily in Switzerland or the European Union, and being transparent about how we use AI.
